BattleStations on Facebook

I am just your average online gamer. My English sucks so please forgive me.

Many Facebook ‘games’ might give some short term satisfaction but they don’t really involve any strategy, which is critical to creating an engaging experience.

After getting bored of the PlayFish game called Pirates Ahoy!
I happened to find this Free to play game on Facebook called BattleStations.

At first I said this would be a boring game because you will just click and click. Do some chores. Use your energy and earn cash. Kill enemies that are usually text-based. No fun and thrill at all.

But I was mistaken.

Airships battles. I was also inspired to try this game because of my love of this anime called One Piece.

Yes I admit, you will get that complicated feeling. But the in-game tutorial will help you in no time.

The fun starts when you reached level 11 and travels to the port where PVP battles are already allowed. The feeling of satisfaction when you see other player's ships sunk by your barrage of weapons is the urge that let me go through this game continuously until now and is officially addicted to it. The battles are animated and sounds of weapons can be heard which sometimes the screen itself is shaking. And finally the Clan Wars where you will join a clan so that you can team up with them on the aim of trying to defeat the forts of other clan while actively defending your fort at the same time. You can see the Clan War in real time using the War Console.

There are many ships to choose upon. Parts for your ships that will determine your battle capability including sails, hulls, stabilizers and engines. And of course different types of weapons that must be chosen wisely in order to be effective in combat including cannons, sub-cannons, missiles and rams.

The game also includes skills which depends on the character class you chose.

At first you start as a sailor. When you reach level 11 you can select your class from Soldier, Pirate, Mechanic or Scout.

You will level up there in no time. The virtual world of it called Sios has many places to explore.
When you start playing it the first port you will be in this floating island of Azure Atoll.

And here is the place you will travel next where you can do
stuff that you can't on Azure Atoll.
Imperial Port.

I just started playing it September 30, 2010. If you haven't tried this game yet, it would not hurt to take a peek to this game. Besides its FREE to play anyway.

Let's meet at the sky, future Captain!

A trailer of the game:

Here is the introduction from their site:
